Description
This advanced system is designed to increase productivity and production output in Nested Based manufacturing by reducing the non-productive time related to part loading and unloading. The system also provides an option to address the non-productive time related to labeling of panels.
By reducing these non-productive areas, increases in production limits are achieved.
Loading Table
- Table is provided with 4 individual roller tracks for easy manual or automated loading, pneumatic pop-up pin for accurate panel positioning and electronic eye for verification of position and delivery.
- This table can also be used in conjunction with laser assisted labeling system.
- The loading table can be used in conjunction to a wide range of panel loading systems – conveyors, scissor lift or vacuum lift (not included in standard offering)
Panel Loading Unit
- The new panel is lifted by 4 vacuum cups and automatically placed into position for machining by the CNC machine.
- The vacuum pods can be manually adjusted in the Y axis to accommodate different panel sizes
- The panel is placed accurately into position by the system and no operator adjustment of sheet alignment is needed.
Sweeper/Panel Vacuum Head
- The sweeper head runs simultaneously with the loader, as it moves down the table the vacuum head under the sweeper vacuums off the spoil-board for the loader.
- The sweeper is designed to push the cut parts completely off of the working table
Off Load Table
The finished parts are swept to the un-loading table (FIG.1). Once loaded the operator can unlock the table and slide it out allowing easy unloading of the finished parts, while maintaining safety by staying outside the working area (FIG.2). The parts are unloaded manually while the machine is cutting a new program, greatly reducing the non-productive time of the operation. A down draft dust collection cleans the cut parts as they are moved to the un-loading table (FIG.3)
